On 15th of March Samsung will be presenting its new Galaxy S4 and soon after is starting with mass production of FHD AMOLED screens. After the first information which was saying that Samsung was planning to show the world their new flagship on 22nd of March, today, Ben Ringel learned that the date was brought forward to 15th of March this year. The source has confirmed that this is a Samsung “unpacked” event, but Ben Ringel is not yet certain where Samsung will present its new device. Also, this information matches with other speculations that the Galaxy S4 will be on sale in mid-April in countries of Western Europe, and will arrive to Asia and the rest of the EU in late April or early May. We expect Samsung invitations to be sent out very soon, probably after the MWC in Barcelona.
Another rumor circling on the internet is that Samsung is planning all accessories for the device to be launched in mid-April. The accessories for Samsung S4 should be: Clear Cover, Flip Cover, Protective Cover, Extra battery with a mask, a wireless adapter, HDTV adapter and headphones.
The Information about the actual device, its specifications and price are still unknown.
Also, later this month, or early next one, Samsung Display subsidiary begins with mass production of Samsung Full HD AMOLED screen with a 440 (ppi) pixel density, and Ben Ringel said these screens should be available in early April. Samsung could also bring a new treat to its top model, and that is a combination of FMM – LITI technology for pixel processing, which is going to be based on diamond modeling of pixels.
